POLICE ADMINISTRATION

Projections

The Police Administration plans to re-orient policing in the country into a problem solving one with crime prevention as its main focus. This is to give more emphasis to the Community Policing concept where deployment of Police Personnel would be based on the security needs of the localities.

With the infusion of adequate vehicles into the system, as is currently being done, the Police Administration has drawn an elaborate plan to improve upon its service delivery in the following areas:-

i. Highway patrols.

ii. Crime prevention and control.

iii. Crime investigation.

iv. Prosecution of offenders.

v. Public Education

vi. Forming partnership with the Community
