SECURITY SUB-COMMITTEE

The Committee is to advise the Council on polices and activities of the Ghana Police Service relating to internal security.

SECURITY SUB-COMMITTEE IS MADE UP OF THE FOLLOWING

WELFARE SUB-COMMITTEE

To develop schemes to promote the welfare of the personnel – both active and retired – of the Ghana Police Service and to plan for achieving this.
To develop schemes to promote and improve Police –Public relations;
To consider any other issues relating to the welfare of personnel of the Ghana Police Service

To review and recommend to the Council the annual budget of the Ghana Police Service.
To review and recommend to the Council any financial proposals for the Ghana Police Service;
To review and propose procedures for the efficient and effective administration of the Ghana Police Service;
To develop and propose Conditions of service for the Ghana Police Service;
To consider the Auditor-General’s report on the Police Service and make appropriate recommendations
